PROCESS
The goal of this key art was to capture the look and feel of the era of sports entertainment that spanned 2002-2008. I achieved this by using a gritty, grunge feel with textures, stock imagery, and brush sets.
Early Concepts
My design began with this image of Batista. His emotion and pose perfectly captures the essence of the title, “RUTHLESS AGGRESSION.” My preliminary concepts featured Batista on his own.
Episodic Art
WWE Ruthless Aggression Season 2 has five episodes. Each episode explores a different group of characters and storylines of the era. Given that dynamic, I was also responsible for creating episodic imagery for each.
Social Promotion + OUTCOME
WWE Ruthless Aggression Season 2 successfully launched on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network internationally on Nov. 22, 2021.
